WordPress Training Program
The course is aimed at people who are new to WordPress and want to build and mange their own website. We provide you with a WordPress website for the course and you can continue to use it after the course for 1 week.
If you need help purchasing a domain and web hosting account please see our Setup a WordPress page, where we will guide you through the purchase of a domain name and a web hosting account and the installation of WordPress.
During our training program you will have full access to a WordPress website for the course and for one week after the course so you can continue with your learning.

The WordPress Dashboard
The WordPress dashboard is where you manage your website. We will go through all the items on the dashboard so you will be familiar with
Pages and Posts
We will go over the difference between pages and posts (posts are blog posts) and show you how to create both and add text and pictures. You will then have the skills to create stunning pages that will impress your visitors.
Beaver Builder Page Builder
WordPress comes with a default page editor called Gutenberg. Whilst it does the job we think a dedicated page builder of Beaver Builder is a million times better. It has a simple drag and drop interface which makes creating stunning pages really easy. We will show you everything you need to know about using Beaver Builder.
Pictures
All good websites need good quality pictures. We will introduce you to free and paid for stock photography websites where you can get high quality photos to make your website stand out from the competition.
Navigation Menus
Menus will help your customers navigate around your website. We will show you how to create custom menus an sub-menus.
Plugins
Plugins in WodPress are a bit like apps for your smartphone - they add functionality to your website. Whatever you want to do on your website there is probably a plugin available. We will introduce the forms plugin so your visitors can easily contact you.
Google Analytics
If you can't measure it, you can't manage it! If you want to grow your website then you will want to know how many visitors you are getting and how they are interacting with it. Google Analytics is the first choice and we will show you how you set it up.

I run the courses with a maximum of 6 people so you will always be able to get one-on-one attention.
