How to setup Google Workspace Cloud Platform to migrate Gmails to Office 365
This is step 4a in our complete guide on how to migrate your emails to Ofice 365 / Microsoft 365 Exchange Online. In the previous step we created user accounts for all the email addresses we want to migrate to Microsoft 365 Exchange Online. This means we also have mailboxes for our email addresses but the mailboxes are empty and they are not live either.
When we come to migrating all of your existing Gmail emails into Microsoft 365 Exchange Online we will be using a 3rd party service called MigrationWiz. In order for MigrationWiz to be able to access the emails in Gmail that need to be migrated we need to make changes in the Google Workspace Admin Centre.
We recommend you use the G SUite (Gmail API) to facilitate the migration to Microsoft 365. And MigrationWiz provide an article on all the steps that are required.
